Economic Hardship: Blind beggars typically live in poverty, relying on alms for their daily sustenance. They often have limited opportunities for stable employment due to their disability and societal discrimination.
Lack of Accessibility: The city infrastructure in Kolkata may not be adequately equipped to support the visually impaired. This includes insufficient accessible public transportation, lack of braille signage, and other assistive facilities.
Healthcare: Access to healthcare is a significant issue. Blind beggars may struggle to receive necessary medical attention, including eye care, general health services, and assistive devices like white canes or braille materials.
Housing: Many blind beggars may be homeless or live in substandard housing conditions. They often lack access to safe and stable housing, leading to further vulnerabilities.
Social Stigma: There is often a social stigma associated with both disability and begging. This can lead to

exclusion and discrimination, making it even harder for blind beggars to integrate into society and access necessary support.

Our aim for the ministry among the blind:

The primary goal is to empower blind beggars by providing them with the necessary tools, skills, and support to lead a dignified and sustainable life. The project aims to uplift their socio-economic status, enhance their self-esteem, and create a more inclusive society. To stand beside the blind people with foods, dress, education for their children, skill training, motivate with audio bible, bringing upto social lebel.
