Christmas program with visually impaired citizen at (Chandannagar ), Hooghly district
We give Glory to Almighty God that Kristalaya Mercy Mission was able to organize a Christmas program (on 28th December 2023) for 300 differently abled citizens for the second year. We thank God for giving us an chance to see the world with their lens. As they heard, how difficult is it for you to lead day to day life without eyesight? He smiled and answered, ‘God has given us an insightful eye, through which we see and lead our day”.
All of these created a burden in our heart by our Lord to work among the blind and especially among the blind beggars. We are carrying the vision of spreading the love of Christ to them. Brother Jagannath (Banerjee) knows the pain and difficulties of those blind brothers and sisters as his roots stem out from this blind community. We are trying to reach and share the Gospel through Ps. Paswan and pastor Biplab who is actively involved among them are blind themselves. Kristalaya Mercy Mission rented a room for them at Chandannagar where they can come and relax and get to know the Lord from our pastor. At the same time, we are also envisioning to teach them Braille lessons and other skill training so that they can stop begging and earn a decent livelihood.
